Studies on IsoOxygen
A study published in Inflammatory Research described a two stage study. First a test tube study was conducted to compare the effects of IsoOxygene, ibuprofen and 19 other botanicals often used to treat inflammation (including holy basil, curcumin, ginger, green tea, berberine and willow bark).
The second stage of the research included 24 people who were given IsoOxygene and Ibuprofen. Blood samples were taken and analyzed to compare the effects of these formulas on Cox-2 and Cox-1 inhibition. The study found that while the two formulas inhibited the Cox-2 enzymes, Ibuprofen also inhibited the Cox-1 enzyme. While Cox-2 enzymes cause inflammation, Cox-1 enzyme has a protective effect especially on the stomach lining. The study concluded that IsoOxygene was a safer more effective remedy.
IsoOxygene was also shown to act on a variety of bio chemical enzymes beside Cox-2 including TNF-Alpha, NF-Kappa-B all of which cause pain and inflammation in the body.
